My problem with rF2 crashing seems to have been resolved, I've done a couple of online races, and several offline with full grids. and no problem ( touch wood, and wood, and more wood ) I had every conceivable combination of settings , graphical and otherwise, I thought, and nothing helped the ctd issue. Framerates always up to 59-60, ( auto details on ) almost if not full green bar. The level of graphical detail doesn't seem to make a lot of difference.
I've had sync on and off and also FXAA. Since I turned sync to software and FXAA off, the prob has not occurred. Before we used the URD mod I had the odd problem, but not the always fatal ctd and consequent lockup. FXAA might have been the issue, somehow the current settings has cured the ctd.
All I need now is to not overrev the car I'm driving and cause it to blow up. Hence my dummy spit and quick departure last night. Hope I didn't upset anyone dropping the big "F".
Anyway, we'll see how long it will stay good.

In your player file look for the line (In your user data folder)
"Repeat Shifts":1, "Repeat Shifts#":"0 = no repeat shift detection, 1 = detect and eliminate accidental repeat shifts within 100ms, 2 = 150ms, 3 = 200ms, 4 = 250ms, 5 = prevent shi
this may help the accidental ones

Downloading the mods now - do i have to select a unique car? As in, one that no one else has selected?
Cheers Schmickle

Hey fellas, I own ver 1.97 of all the URD stuff. Is there any way I can update to 2.0 without purchasing again?

I had deleted the email, but if you create an account on Sellfy with the email address you used when you purchased the mod from URD, the latest mod download is in your purchase list (https://sellfy.com/user/purchases)
