Race Night Briefing
Be sure to have Teamspeak connected and working for race night. Connection details and race night server password HERE Read & understand the Racing Rules especially Sporting Regs so we all can have hard but fair racing. Protest system is available AFTER the race night for those that require it, so please don't have discussions during race event as it distracts other drivers.
Qualifying Format
(note this has change from the advertised information) Unlimited Laps (Total session time 20 minutes) GT cars will start qualifying first, And will run till timer reaches 12 minutes (GT CHEQ FLAG will be posted in chat). You may finish the lap you are on P2 cars will get a message "PIT OPEN FOR P2" and they can run to the chequered flag
Race Start Format
The pole sitter will control the formation lap which will start from the green signal (don't move before the green) Approx formation lap speed 120kph be aware of car in front and no sudden acceleration or braking and no swerving to warm tyres. (Single file only) Pole sitter will slow at Blanchimont(Turn 17) to bunch up the field Once pole sitter arrives at the grid bay they are free to start the race, no passing or overlapping before the start line.
Virtual start times Practice 7:00am Qualifying 12:00pm Race 2:00pm
Time scale is set at 5X so the Race will finish at 9:30pm so have a headlight key assigned Real weather is enabled so check the forecast to see whats install for race night.

Link to server password is not working.
Do I need to download both URD cars to join the race or just pick 1?
Thanks

Night to forget for me , Q. 1st hot lap came across slow traffic on a slow lap. Please beware of those on fast laps. Just able to fit in a banker.. R lap 1 jhonny had a big moment bounced off the walls and back across track unfortunately collecting my front and rear left corners. Slowly deflating rear and flat spotted and bent front and no splitter, Steering was 30 degree's out. Eventually a huge off where the bus stop once was and basically spun all the way to pit entrance. 660 seconds and no repair done. Had pressed space bar at 580 seconds so that may have stopped repairs. Left pit but un drivable.. Escaped... Will miss next few rounds due to work. Bugger. Sorry Shawn.

All good Bwana, sucks you missed out on most of the race!
Thanks to everyone taking part, that was a great race, Josh, Shorty, sucks you both had issues, not sure I could have beaten either of you for raw pace, and you were right Josh your out lap was epic, 9 seconds faster then mine! I've going to have work on that!
Good racing all, congrats to the podium places in both categories and I look forward to next week!
Cheers.

Congrats to Shaun on his first win here, doubt it will be the last one :-)
My race got off to an average start, dropping to the back of the gt field before the green. By the time I got past Shano heading up the Kemmel straight the lead P2 was over 30 seconds down the road.
Had a couple of close calls with gt cars losing control as I was lapping them, but that was to be expected with such a long race and so many cars.
I had committed to a two stopper pretty early and I'm glad that I did. It gave me the grip and speed to pass cars pretty easily and even with the extra tour through the pits I think it was quicker. If I hadn't dropped to the back of the gt field I think that I could have challenged for the win at the end there, but all things considered I will take the second happily.
Well done to the class winners and podium achievers.
