F1s were tough to set up, I spent a lot of time messing with the car and all the practice paid off this time with another win. The track was no Monaco but still a challenge, a loose setup was needed to be fast and overdriving meant getting sideways big time. I was cooking by mid race, tried not to let it distract me but I did run wide a couple of times into the first corner after trying to cool off down the straight. Huge respect for professional drivers, overheating is a massive distraction! Thanks again to all who participated, would love to see more drivers next time. The classics are tough to drive but hugely rewarding when done properly I reckon.

You had that car hummin BTW thanks for the setup. I was slow and after grabbing your set managed to be slightly competitive. Well done Daniel on the win. Tried to keep up early in the race but after a while just slowly started to drift back before tapping the wall and then it was a matter of just getting to the finish.

Some pretty wild racing tonight, managed to hold on by the skin of my teeth in the second race until cambo pushed a fraction too hard. I think making 1st position quickly was what saved me cause I wasn’t willing to drive the car into the corners nearly as hard as what cambo was doing, I had to go defensive a couple of times even with good corner exits which was my main focus. We were doing qualy pace with a lot more fuel in that second race, it was pretty intense. I managed to be pretty consistent, I think the worst mistake I made in both races was running a little wide in parabolica.
Thanks to cambo for organising this awesome little series, the historics treated me well, that last race was the toughest by far but I managed to hold on for a clean sweep of the series (woohoo!!) If only I did that well in the newer cars. I’ll be looking out for my trophy in the mail! 😂 And thanks to everyone who competed, it was great fun, looking forward to historics in the future so I can maybe win again lol

Great Series to try out some different cars from the past. A real challenge for sure, With Monaco in the F3's I really struggled bit better in the F1 from 1975 but the BT20's were the most fun it felt like you were on the edge the whole time, Race 2 was great racing at full pace trying to keep with Daniel, I had a couple of runs on you but its was always to risky going round the outside of parabolica. The corner that you just thought you could go round faster but always land in the kitty litter if you tried. Thanks everyone for the fun racing and see you on track next week for the return of the GP3's
