Hey back I didn't realise you hit me in race 1 but you did spin me in race 2 before the start line but don't worry about it. Just with starts and the first lap in general next time just take it easy a be a little less aggressive while everything sorts itself out. It's really hard to race when you damage your car on the first lap. Yeah for some reason I make very fast starts and I think there was bit of lag on the network at the time too and Jerez is not very wide on the start and some of others tracks it would be ok sorry I am about that I take the fault for that in race 2 for sure Back, something that might help is watching your race replays, a few things could be done better. After going off track you must be careful rejoining, make sure no cars a coming before rejoining the track. Also lap 11 of race one the collision with Duke you should have redressed ie. Pull over and let him regain the position. We all make mistakes as Menace did at turn 1 by spinning me around he then let me back past.

Replays are automatically saved, in the options menu there is a tab for replays. On the left are the replays in chronological order ie latest at top. Look for two with R1 at the end of the names, they will be the race replays.

Hey Back, if you can’t use a wheel I’d *strongly* recommend buying a Logitech f310 gamepad, they are $35 off eBay and they are a quality controller. The reason I mention this is I’ve watched your input when you’re using the controller you currently have and I’m positive that it reads steering in literally 4 steps left/right and throttle/brake I don’t know if you even have any fine grained control at all or if it’s just 100% or nothing. Now I dont want to pick on you or anything but I’d be fucking pissed if I had to use a controller with input like that, and not only that but I get real nervous lapping you and I’m sure you want to be battling for position not getting lapped. So please if you can’t use a wheel, buy a f310 it’ll be the best $35 you spent. It has triggers for throttle & brake which give nice precise input and give you enough control that you can turn the car with the throttle and not just lose it and you won’t be locking up everywhere. The joysticks are also very good, you can even use the right joystick like a little sequential shifter like I used to. It would be like day vs night compared to what you have now. I used to use the wireless version of this controller and I was very very happy with it and it lasted years. I played the original rFactor with it and then many many hours on rFactor 2 before the left joystick finally died, so I can help you get your settings right and you should be up to speed in no time.
