Hi Cambo, just to clear up the Tyre Change rule, thats all 4 tyres, is that correct? As you can change fronts and rears separately and use different compounds on the front and rear,
it creates a bit of grey area IMHO.

Cheers You must change all 4 tyres to a different compound in the pit stop , and run at least 1 full racing lap on both compounds of tyre |

At last I did dry lap of Bathurst since every time I test before it was wet gone for high downforce type setup for grip while I am not going to top runner on this track can not believe our top drivers are into 2:02s I think finishing in points for me will be nice
It look like my skin will not be not quite ready for this round so I can a McLaren Shadow skin without a number for this round if that ok Cambo?

Great turn out , thanks all who raced..Nice to get a clean race for me after a long hiatus ( just need to figure out why my assigned set didnt hold , maybe due to warmup restarts ? ) pitted on lap 4 for 120 lts and mediums , looked like having a good tussle with Cambo who pitted pretty early as well but he unfortunately ran wide at skyline giving me a gap and then a short battle with phill but after that didn’t see anyone from about lap 7. Glad to get through without a single scrape of the walls and finish within the top 10 all be it 9th . ( not sure who it was l came together with in qual ? Sry for chatter all , bit pissed as was putting in a good banker lap with the tow and car had pace to push for top 4 on a clean lap , second attempt was traffic effected so horrid qual all up ) ... was also a good test for my pc running the rift in my first race using it and longest stint by far in the virtual world .. bring on round 2 .. big congrats to podium and finishers

Not a good start to the season. As I am way off the pace my plan was just to take it easy and drive to finish.
Alas after 1 1/2 laps came over Skyline to have a spun car in the middle of the track, just clipped it, but that spun me around then ended up on my roof. The game then put me back on my wheels but unfortunately also put me wedged on the fence and no amount of throttle would get me off, so game over.
Oh well, see ya next week.

Great grid some insane times at the top, I had a reasonable start dodged the cars at the start and started to settle in. Made a mistake at the last corner and spun, then spun again into the pits changed tyres and came out just in front of Bwana. Had a good battle trying to keep him behind, another good battle with Phil, side by side for a few corners with him getting the better of me. Mediums started to handle like crap and kept making mistakes. Managed to keep it on the black stuff to finish in 12th. Well done to Daniel, Josh & Fonz on the podium. Well done to the 26 drivers that started it was great to see a packed grid around Bathurst. Next week is Autopolis (Sprint Round) 15min Race & 40min Race , see you all there

Yes awesome turnout for R1, hopefully we can continue that into the rest of the season. Man, I kept my nose pretty clean, starting a little heavy with the mediums for a longer first stint (65-66% of total laps) and straight after the pit onto a fresh set of soft boots, I bin it up the top of the mountain. So angry at myself, was looking forward to the rest of the race after getting the mediums out of the way.
The BMW is a handful. Not many drivers are racing it this season and it makes me wonder if I've made a mistake. I do like the car, it sounds amazing and is not in any other sim as far as I know as of yet. I need to spend more time in it and hopefully work out where the time is with it. I think it needs a different approach in driving style and certainly needs something to keep the ass end in check. Very light rear end even with decent amount of traction control.

I was completely unsighted and thought all cars had passed and reversed about a foot before hearing you and clipped you. A terrible start to the season for me, at least I was consistent, driving like an a-hole on both qualifying and the race. I am away for work next week but will be back for Suzuka and am already more organised with a decent basis for a set up already established. If anyone wants to share a good Callaway base set up with me that would be fantastic and improve the quality of my life for the next few months! If all those guys at the front can please stop embarrassing us that would be appreciated!!! Congratulations to those on the podium |

Very light rear end even with decent amount of traction control. Anton, the BMW has a problem with the back of the car hitting the road. You need to raise the ride height up to max and the rear shocks need to have hard rebound and soft bump. Bathurst, there is nothing you can do to stop the car from hitting the road coming out of turn 13, I think that's right. It's the last left hander in the dipper. I will give you a set for the BMW next time I see you in the server, it took me 7 days to set it up.

I feel the same way re the beamer. I thought I had tamed it with my set, but got caught out going through skyline. I was probably pushing to hard at the time, but I was still really struggling to get consistent speed out of it.
Bathurst is a bit of an anomaly and I remember liking the car while driving it at other tracks when it came out. Hoping it will be decent elsewhere. Also happy to share the set I have made for the car next time I see you on track.
Fun fact: ACC beat S397 to the punch with releasing an official M6 by about three months.

I find McLaren720S after racing it a few times it not good car on a track going up the hill you loose a bit power it good car slow to med speed type tracks without hills that when it come in to it own there but the all gt3 cars have there good points and bad points it about picking the car that you like to drive
