Had a great race. Finally found some speed and consistency with the help of chris.
Was having a good stint maintaining the gap back to Gordon and fats which is a first for me.
Sorry again to Chris for stuffing your race mate, not the best way to repay your help during the week.
Anyway looking forward to the next race.

Fun race for the most part. Josh and menace took off at the start and opened a gap, bout half way through my first stint started to close the gap and could see menace slowly getting closer then my tyres went off and had to pit. With Chris been so close knew I had to put in some quick laps but made a few errors and ended about 8 sec behind him. Then unfortunately other issues prevented the battle to the end. So last part of race was circling around making sure my tyres would last to the end. All in all not to bad.

These cars are awesome fun and I will be sad to see them go. I found the Z4 really nice to drive over a 90 minute race. I don't think it had the outright pace of some cars, especially in regards to top speed. After 90 minutes in the 911 I always felt a little sore, in the shoulder blades especially. I didn't get any of that last night. I think this also makes the Z4 a little easier on it's rubber too.
I watched Cambo pull away over the fist stint after trying to challenge him off the start. The gap got out to about ten seconds, but he must have made a mistake and by the time he pitted, around forty minutes in I was right on top of him. I another couple of laps and pitted myself. I was most pleased to see that I had come out with a healthy gap over Cambo and was looking forward to the rest of the race and trying to defend second position. Unfortunately contact with a recovering Jonzi meant I had to pit again and third was the best I could achieve. I still had a really enjoyable race, the Z4 was joyous to drive and I think I could have run for nearly an hour before I needed to change tyres due to a pace drop off.
Well done to Cambo and Josh. Bad luck menace.

had a great battle with Josh for the first 20 mins then ran a corner wide which put me 3 secs behind, keeped at that pace until i hit a invisible wall that took my front wheel off(on the ripple strip).3 mins in the pits then a drive through for god knows, couldnt seem to get it to happen last night so a shithouse race for me.

That was bad luck mate, I did notice on the motec data I looked at my ride height was in the minus (as in below the ground) at parts around the track . I think this might be the issue with this mod invisible wall bug. A little strange anyway as I ran over the kerbs a fair bit last night and was lucky....so who knows??

Really enjoyed last nights race, looking forward to a lot more like it. I had a lot of trouble with the track until i changed my field of view to 85, after this adjustment the Car and track were awsome fun to drive. I must practice more for the next race, foolishly i planned two pit stops, the first of which, i drove straight past my pit box then damaged my car reversing into the pit wall. Placed 47L fuel each stop costing myself 60S each stop. I know i can do better. Field seemed very even and made for some fun racing.
Looking forward to next race.

One thing that is big for me is being on the server. If you are practising, then do it on the server. When I see others on I'm more likely to jump on. We could also talk to another league and combine our efforts. I know that the AVM guys are still using rf1 and have been discussing the switch to rf2 for ages now. Might be worth someone with some authority here dropping AusPacer over there a line to see what they are up to and if we could work together. That is another league that was ejected from XGN 5 or 6 years ago, so we probably have some common ground not to mention some members that are familiar with each other. I know pacer was racing here when we ran the 71gp cars using rf1. www.avm.org.au/forum/index.phpAlso looking at their last result thread they only had nine drivers show up. I recognise most of the drivers on the list too. australianvirtualmotorsport.liveracers.com/Results/Result/f05a2822-b57c-4b8d-88a3-3a4e648cf4e1
