Be interesting to see how Josh's car goes with 500 extra kg. like having 7 passengers.

test night wasn't that great i thought ,with a wet track in race 2 it was hard to tell what applied weight will do ,saying that i think this will be a good series ,good fun cars to drive.

test night wasn't that great i thought ,with a wet track in race 2 it was hard to tell what applied weight will do ,saying that i think this will be a good series ,good fun cars to drive. All in all, I think it went pretty well. Yes the weight difference didn't show as much as it could have but the uncertainty of the weather and wether you use wets or drys more than made up for that. I suppose it all comes down to how you drive to the conditions. In the dry it will make a difference but as bwana said, just practise with enough extra fuel to match the weight you have and that should tell you what sort of feel the car has, that way it wont matter in the wet as the car will still be the same weight.

Good fun night and all felt good. Especially the last corner, last lap sneaking past menace while he tried to get his rears to grip up the hill...

yes Fats i agree with that but part of the test night was to see the weight differences in the cars to see how close we came together to bring the field in.with it being wet that for me didn't work.i know i can put extra fuel in my can to make weight.

I was hoping for a little more dry running with weight on, but in reality the max that can go on a vehicle is 255kg(Max Ingame setting). So really I guess we will find out over the rounds. But looking at the lap times in the dry in race 1 there isn't much of a gap between us all. Any extra weight should should bring the 1st half of the field closer to the second half of the field. Once we all have a good handle on these cars I'm expecting some great bumper to bumper action all through the field, finger crossed anyway. On another note I see the forecast for Melbourne on the weekend doesn't look the best so maybe the practice in the wet might have useful
