Thanks Cambo, unfortunately I have pawed up and down that thread a couple of times over the last year. I will try the overlay and see if it sheds any light on my problem. I have probably spent 20+ hours trying to get a feedback setup that I'm happy with for rfactor 2 and just can't get anywhere. Is anyone else using a g25? mind sharing your ffb settings with me? I find some mods, like the FR3.5 and Formula ISI to be un-drivable due to the erratic nature of the feedback. It's basically a choice of it trying to shake my wheel to bits or no feel at all. Yet some mods like the apex GT and DW12 feel perfect.

Chris I have different Json files for different cars. Then tweek the in game settings. Of most influence for G27 is the "Steering torque minimum":0.075",I have between 0.05 & 0.17 depends on the car.
I game most are multi 0.5 to 1.24 depending on the overlay showing clipping.
Try not loading the Logitech profiler. Unzip the attached file and add the files to your "controller folder" inside the user data folder. They files are named for each car so you can choose then load the one you want to use from in game controller setup screen. Attachments:Controller.zip (38.87 KB)

Hopefully I can work on it during the week.

I have G27 and I agree I cannot get the FFB to my liking that well.
I usually begin at: Multiplier: 0.55 (to avoid clipping in most mods) Smoothing: 6 (if I get the death rattle I increase to 8 or 10)

I can hit the 5 and 6 multiplier no worries with my G27 hybrid. Kinetic energy is normally discarded as noise when doing the death rattle but mine regenerates the energy into a sophisticated energy management device. It’s still continuous research and development, which began way back when I lost the old power source.
