La Volpe has proposed we run a series on Thursdays with the ASR F1 1992 league edition mod (currently version 1.86, download from here) As Playlife and Cambo have said, we are planning a series that is waiting for a mod release and we would like this to begin shortly after said release. For that reason I'd like to schedule this as a mini-series (say 6 rounds) with the possibility of extension depending on numbers and the release. Please register your interest below, indicating whether you'd prefer weekly or fortnightly races.
I'd expect to get the series started within a few weeks of receiving enough interest with a provisional schedule proposed by La Volpe: Brazil, Imola, Magny Cours, Silverstone, Hockenheim, Hungary.

Im in but couldn't make all rounds and as such a weekly race would give me more chance of racing.

What would be a better night to run so most of the regulars can make it? Should we start a poll or something to work out what everyone's preference is?
Numbers have dropped off a lot here since I was last around. From my experience every league that continues to grow in numbers picks a feature event to hold consistently, whether it be an ongoing evolution of F1, GT or Touring, the main event doesn't really change much between season. Whereas typically here it seems every season is a new mod, new calendar, and short seasons.
Keep TMF rotating and social, and make the RFL a serious competition. I'm more than happy doing the grunt work to help the admins in run it.

Thursday seems to have been a problem for a while so I would propose a new night, even if it is just a trial to see if it helps with numbers.

League numbers right across the board of RF2 are down ,particularly in Australian leagues. We are seeing an increase at SRA and seem to have the biggest fields here in OZ. Once and if ISI get rf2 to STEAM Id imagine an increase . Stock cars will increase overall RF2 use but probably not in OZ time zone league races. RFL has always been open wheel and should remain so. the CART series when released will be big and in the meantime the ASR stuff is as far as good mods 3rd part stuff goes (the FSR stuff is pretty good but not brilliant in my view) FR3.5 has always been at the top of a lot of peoples list of go to mods and an update to the F2 is imminent sooner or later. tough call ?.. as for nights no night is better for me unfortunately .. ps there is always the EVE or BT20 or Skippys but unfortunately not many really suitable quality tracks for long seasons.

If there's another day that suits everyone I'm fine with that. Post your suggestions.

Wednesday would be more suited to me but it all depends on work. Don't base it around me either!

There will need to be close to a consensus on a change of night. Tuesday or Wednesday would work for me. Wednesday suits Cambo and Playlife. Any day is fine with Mike. Suggestions? FatCity bwana menace3 La Volpe
