I've not driven it for a few weeks. Will give it another shot tonight.
What track have you been driving it on? I think Rouen would suit it well.

Been laping Matsusaka. 2.01 default 15 lap stints. Love the way the tires come on after 3 laps or so and the balance of the car as you have to drift it to the turns. Tire temp effects seem much more gradually accentuated in this mod and the power output through the rev range is outstanding.. Getting better a d better.

Is there a version of the old Ostreichring available for RF2? I that would suit these down to a tee.
Would also mean I could compare it directly with the BT44 that's in Automobilista.

Nürburgring Nordschleife is also another appropriate period track for this car.
I believe there is an old Silverstone version floating about too.

do you use internet explorer or chrome, use chrome and give it a try, if I get them sometimes I just swap and it works ok. Dont panic, I just think its a code thing , not a virus etc. If you arent sure just do a scan after downloading.

I've been able to have a drive in rF2 finally after a long time. Enjoying flinging the 1975 Brabham BT44B around 1975 Silverstone although playing against AI is not great.
They're on v0.89. Fuel consumption is bang on compared to its real life counterpart. The car (in real life) had excessive understeer which the two Carlos' had a hell of a time trying to dial out, usually at the consequence it became very unstable in fast corners. I don't think they've quite captured the essence of the car itself but as an example of a mid 1970s period car I think it's pretty good.

Its the same issue as in that other forum post, you can have all the correct mechanical dimensions but the feel is something best tinkered with by those who have had to drive them. should be pretty good once complete..

Yep, which just shows the shortcomings of simulation. Modelling physics is damn hard and if you have poor data in, it will be worse coming out given models aren't able to precisely model reality. The biggest short coming of rF2 is by far an away aerodynamics. It's a really basic model and explains sometimes why weird stuff happens when the car's moves into a 6DOF system attitude (mostly pitch).
