Obviously it's light on details and there is no time frame, but this is exciting news. Can't wait until vr is reliable.

140 extra staff and reportedly more and faster content releases.. Seems like a good business arrangement that will see rf2 go next level.

Was watching for the 'big' release news. Hope there is more news than that. Lol what more do you want? Better for them to temper expectations then potentially exceed them at this point. I still think VR will be huge for our genre. Triples will look like monochrome gameboy screens in comparison to smooth reliable VR.

I guess so, was more hoping for licencing deals . I am not fussed too much by graphics but that's just me. I guess plenty of AC and Pcars users will now purchase.hopefully bring modding groups like DRM back to the fold

Life time membership now purchased I only started playing RF2 a couple of months back so I went for the 1 year option to see what I thought of it (hands down best sim ever!) have considered 1 year vs life time since and been dx9 was thinking the game might only have a few years left. To me this news shows it's here to stay for a lot longer!

This is great news. VR is a little sketchy at the moment but will revolutionize online racing. Resolution or more importantly pixel density is a real issue for me.
Bring on Version 2 of consumer Rift. It will be sweet!

Not being able to see my wheel and buttons and picture resolution and focal length will be major issues for me regarding VR.

Plenty of time though and I have no doubt that it won't be for everyone. I'm up for the challenge of making it work though.

Wondering what effect the change will have in soon to bo released mods ie enduroracers. Will they have to re jig textures using the dx11 library or perhaps a v 1.1 at a later date ? Reading testomials from VR owners l will probably end up going that way. Will definitely have to go and find a shop demoing them for a tryout.
