Bwana or anyone would you expand a little so I can get to understand why the difference makes for a better experience. As far as can make out the increase in detail just means more bumps get noticed especially at Sebring.
What does a laser scan track provide? Yes I get that it is more accurate but never having actually driven on the Sebring circuit I wouldn't know any difference.
I guess what I am trying to understand is why laser scan is the holy grail?

Don’t think it’s all about the laser scan but also the immersion of textures , the bumps make it a lot more challenging that’s for sure with bumps in braking zones . The AIW is great which makes for awesome multi class offline racing .. Biggest difference l noticed straight away compared to the VLM version is the width of the track and the height of curbs and how they grab the wheel optimisation is also a big feature as it’s possible to run very high settings in all weather and day/ night cycle conditions .. If all tracks where if this quality it would be fantastic ..

The same start time and mods lve been running , as well as a 1hr race in the Howstons , same thing though late afternoon to night , just incredible visually and even though l would not know if the surface is correct or not the little lumps and ridges that you become familiar with just set this track apart from all other rf2 tracks
