Sadly it is time for SRA to suspend racing at present, it's been a long time at the helm with help from Josh & Bwana. Real life has come in to pull me away from the time needed to run these series correctly. SRA started a long time ago well before I joined up. FatCity and the late Mr Mum along with Liftalot started it all back the the rf1 days, Montah , PLAYLIFE, Josh & Christoperaser have all had their hand at running a series & the standard here has always been high. Also the many drivers that have come & gone driving standards here have been high & I thank you all for the great time I have had here at SRA both as a driver & an admin. I'm sure to see you on the track in the future as IMO Rf2 is the best racing sim out there. Look out for a post I will put up in the other communities thread a bit of info for those unaware of the other great Australian Leagues all with similar ethics & run events.
Thanks all
Seeyou

Yeah well done Cambo.. only been here a year or so and its been fun. Thx for making me feel welcome, u sound like a top guy who has a lot of bad luck in the racing (last night again when we were dueling it out). Thx for all the good battles at SRA. Hope to race with u again at OR.

Thanks Cambo, sorry to hear it, but I don't think there is anything wrong with calling it under the circumstances.
I know it hasn't always been smooth sailing but I appreciate everything you have done as an admin here, you always strove to run interesting and fun events for us and we had some great battles on track over the years.
To everyone that raced here thanks for your time and effort. I learnt to race at SRA when Sterling and Schmickle left the XGN GTR2 league to run their own rfactor league in 2005, Mr Mum convinced me to go with them and it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

All good things come to an end eventually and SRA has been better than good for a very long time. I started in the Schmickle / Sterling / Liftalot RFL days and loved the creation of The Monday Factor thanks to Fatcity and Mr Mum. Boy they where headey days ,so many great races. Various iterations including legends such as Playlife ,Montah Steele ,Josh , Christopheracer carried on the league in its usual high standard . Then came Cambo and during times when Rf2 was suffering mass exodus due to other other software emerging and its own glitches he persevered and built it to extraordinary heights for many years . I think we had 36 cars one race at Suzuka in the flat 6 ?. With that series continuing with huge fields. Cambo โ the bloke with the strange accentโ ๐๐ has excelled all along, helpful and friendly to all who entered the community he set a very high standard for admins everywhere.. Enjoy your racing IRL now Cambo ,youโve been bitten by the bug and lm sure will achieve your goals, too all that have raced here THANK YOU ALL. even you menace ya flog ๐๐๐.. lm spewing l didnโt get to race more the last 12 months , time poor and last few months chronic tennis (whiting) elbow has kept me out of my sim. Hope to see you all on track at the other great communities we have here in OZ and on the RF2 competition servers in the future

Hi Guys, I stopped racing awhile ago but I never really left, always poking my nose in to check out whats happening. I have to say that if it wasn't for me, Mr Mum and Liftalot stumbling across a league called simracingaustralia.com in its infant days setup By Sterling and Schmickle, The Monday Factor may never have eventuated. They setup the league with the intention of running Open Wheeler racing on wednesday nights, we got to talking to them after running some GTR2 stuff on other servers with Chris and Liftalot and Nighstalker and a couple of others. and they allowed us to set up The Monday Factor running Touring and GT and Sportscar stuff on Monday nights.
To cut along story short, over the years , there have been a lot of guys come and go including Sterling, Schmickle and Liftalot, private lives and other interests taking over, but there have also been a steady core of racers that have stuck around.
So I just want to say thanks to you guys for the great times I had racing with you.
Christopheraser, Bwana, Montah Steele, Playlife, Cambo, Josh, Whitmore and some of the guys from earlier days, Mutant and Polluta.
One guy I want to says thanks for the fun too is Mike, we always had some great racing against each other. You weren't to bad for an old bloke lol.
Sorry to anyone I haven't mentioned but the memory isn't as good as it was lol. Bit like my driving.
Shame it has come to an end and big thanks to Cambo for keeping it going for as long as you did.
I cant seem to get rid of Bwana from Facebook no matter how hard I try, but it is good to keep in touch with you guys even though we've never met face to face lol.
All the best to all members, ya never know, I might get the itch back one day and maybe will see you on track somewhere.

Sad to hear things have come to an end here at SRA.
Thanks to Cambo for taking over the reins the last few years, Bwana and Josh for their contribution and any others that has helped out with the admin biz.
Can't even remember when I first joined, But I do remember where, it was a race at the Burke airport in Detroit wth the Indy-cars, rF1.
FatCity, Christopheraser, Mr Mum, Bwana, Montah Steele and the rest made me feel welcome in to the SRA family, perhaps not expressed at the time but certainly appreciated. I'm presently traveling overseas for the next few weeks and was looking forward to getting back into the "racing" when returning home.
Hopefully someone with the ability, knowledge and time can take up the mantle, wish I could do something myself, but unfortunately I haven't got a clue.
Yes Fat, memory, hearing and eyes are fading slowly, but appreciating what we got and remembering those that left too early.
Thanks to everyone for the good times over the years, hopefully it will continue somewhere, somehow.

Hey guys, very sorry to hear it's the end of the road for SRA.
Similarly to a few others, I have had to put sim racing to the side for the last few years unfortunately, but I always ducked in here when I had a chance. Shame 'esports' is actually become a thing now - looks like we were about a decade too early!
No need to reiterate what has already been said about the guys who ran SRA and but also those who participated every week for all these years. Lots of time and effort for what is a passion for all of us. It's been fantastic fun.
SRA was the first and last league I joined and stayed at. Sense of community, fair and hard racing but most importantly laughs on TeamSpeak (or whatever audio program is being used now) is what I remember and covet the most!
Unfortunately rF2 just did not quite make the mark. The issues with the software and goings-on behind the scenes meant it never went on to achieve its potential.
I still buzz around the s397 and autosport forums so feel free to drop me a line anywhere on there.
Till the next race...

Hope you are having a good trip Mike, still plenty of placers to race when you get back.
I have been playing ACC and AC quite a bit with another league, if you want the details let me know

Will eventually get over to the Outlawsracing.com. Haven't got any of the AC sims and probably wont buy for a while , on a very tight budget after eight weeks spending spree.
